What is your jewellery made from?
All Astraea Designs pieces are made from high-quality stainless steel.
Our gold pieces are finished with a durable gold coating, while our silver pieces maintain their natural polished steel finish.
Both gold and silver pieces are designed for the same level of durability and everyday wear
This makes all of our jewellery waterproof, tarnish-resistant, and suitable for everyday wear.
Is your jewellery waterproof?
Yes - our jewellery is designed to be worn every day, including in the shower, at the gym, and in the rain.
The stainless steel base naturally resists water, helping your jewellery maintain its appearance through daily activities.
Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?
No - unlike cheaper metals such as brass or copper, stainless steel does not oxidise easily, meaning it won’t turn your skin green.
Our pieces are also designed to be tarnish-resistant with normal wear.
How long does the gold colour last?
Our pieces are made to last significantly longer than traditional gold-plated jewellery. However, like all plated jewellery, the finish can gradually fade over time depending on wear and exposure to chemicals (like perfumes or chlorine). With proper care, your jewellery will maintain its shine for a long time.
Can I wear it in the gym, shower or sea?
Yes, our jewellery is built for an active lifestyle.
To keep your pieces looking their best for as long as possible, we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals such as chlorine and strong perfumes.
What’s the difference between your gold and silver jewellery?
The difference is purely in the finish.
Our gold pieces feature a durable gold coating, while our silver pieces have a polished stainless steel finish - both are designed to be waterproof, tarnish-resistant, and suitable for everyday wear.

How long does shipping take?
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1–2 business days.
Estimated delivery times:
UK: 2-5 business days and International: 5-10 business days.
How much is shipping?
Standard UK shipping is £3.00, or free on orders over £75.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes - once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email so you can follow your delivery. All orders are tracked so you can follow your delivery every step of the way.
What is my item arrives damager or incorrect?
Is there's any issues with your order, contact us and we'll resolve it as quickly as possible

Do you accept returns?
Yes - if something isn't right, we're here to help.
We offer a 14-day return/refund policy from the date of delivery. Items must be unworn and in original condition.
How do I start a return?
Simply email us at orders@astraeadesigns.com with your order number and the item details and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
4. Guarantee
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, all orders are backed by our 12-month guarantee for peace of mind. If anything isn;t right then we will replace it free of charge, no hassle.
What does the guarantee cover?
If your jewellery experiences any issues related to quality or abnormal tarnishing, we’ll replace it or make it right.
