Our Story

Astraea's concept emerged from a rainy yet memorable hike up Ben Nevis - a moment that shaped our focus on durable, life-proof jewellery.

Our Story: Two best friends of over 15 years, one living in London, and the other in Dubai, reunited the day before a friend's wedding and decided to take on the UK's highest peak in typical sideways rain.

Halfway up, somewhere between manifesting our year ahead and fighting the storm, we noticed the same thing: our jewellery was giving up before we were.

It wasn't a new problem; it had been building over time. As two active women who train, travel, juggle demanding careers and generally live life at full speed, it was clear that everyday jewellery simply can't keep up.

So we stopped waiting for a solution and decided to create one ourselves.

Right there on that rain-soaked mountain, Astraea was built with a simple belief: jewellery should be as strong and dynamic as the people who wear it.
